Good day. Please advise if the following is possible.

1. ABC Reseller Co is a reseller of ours. Our primary contact at ABC Reseller Co is Sally Smith, SVP Channel Partners.
2. XYZ Big Co is a customer of ABC Reseller Co which ABC Reseller Co believes would be a good prospect for us.
3. We would like to track in our CRM that we have ABC Reseller Co as a reseller and that XYZ Big Co is a deal they are bringing to the table for us to attempt to close.

Is this possible with the Hubspot CRM?

Hey @Ethostrong as you can have several types of ownership on the same deal (qualification owner, account executive owner, Success, COE, AM owner ....) you can also have a partnership owner. That way you'll be able to understand when a partner worked as acquisition source (channel + ownership) and also when it only helped co-selling (no partner channel but partner owner).

The only cons of this solution happens when you get to many new Partners on a regular basis making hard to update that property, when you get there I advice you to look for PRM solutions that integrate with Hubspot 🙂

Partner Relationship Management - each one of your partners will have a dedicated place to update you about their performance, make referrals, check your guidelines and documentation and you'll get the data of each one of them inside your CRM (Hubspot).
