Reporting: Roll-Up of Number Property Across Companies
SOLVE
We have a field on companies called "Expected Referrals in 2020" - this is a number field. I need to create a very basic report that shows the TOTAL number of expected referrals across ALL companies. When creating the report, HS only rolls up the count of companies:
Ex: Company A: 10 Referrals, Company B: 5 Referrals - the total referrals for 2020 would be 15, but instead HS only gives me the rollup of companies (2).
This seems like basic reporting logic so I would be surprised if this is not possible, but I have not found a way to create this. Any ideas?
@Sydney, you should be able to do something like the following:
I know my property differs, but it's a number field so you should be able to do the same. Let me know if you have any questions. Do be sure you have your date filter set correctly in the top left!

There should be a field type 'roll-up' that does exactly that. This functionality is badly needed in multiple ways everywhere a top hierarchy aggregates values from below. The solutions should be a combination of value type (what) and fomula (how). Salesforce does this quite elegantly in reporting.
I highly recommend submitting this feedback to the Ideas Forum. This is where our Product team goes to receive feedback and also allows other users to upvote and comment on your idea.
