I'm trying to accomplish something that I'm hoping someone can provide some insight on. I've been tasked with cleaning up our CRM and I'm trying to achieve the following:
These are 2 options for one of our Deal Properties, "Deal Type". I want to remove or hide these two property fields and create a new one called "Direct" without the Inbound or Outbound as we already have a "Deal Source" property with these options.
From what I understand I can't remove them entirely which is fine, as they are included in a lot of historical data. Ideally I want them hidden from the drop down menu so users can't select it. Is there any way to remove it as an option?
The best practice here would be to try and update the affected records with an approved value. In other words, on the deal index page (Menu > CRM > Deals), you would filter for deals with these values, then bulk update them to a "correct" value: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/bulk-edit-records
Afterwards, you can delete these options.
If that's not an option for you, you could also simply rename these values to "[Don't use] Direct inbound" etc. It is not possible to hide them without deleting them.
Best regards
