Hi, I am trying to delete 2 properties that are under deals. But it says I need to remove all the records where the properties are set. Is there any way to remove it without the records?
You cannot delete a property from any object if it still contains data in any records. However here's what you can do Go to the Deal's object and use advanced filters option to show only records that meets the property condition is known. Now you will have filtered list of deals that meet that condition. Choose 100 at a time and bulk edit and clear the value for the property.
Once the above process is done for both the properties you looking to delete, re run the filter to give a final check and now if you try deleting the property you should be now be able to do it.
( You dont need to delete the records, just clear the property values)

No, you have to clear the values for this property on all records before you can delete it.
A quick way to do so would be to navigate to the deal index page, applying a filter for "[property] is known", then selecting all records, then clicking "Edit" to bulk clear the value.
Best regards!
