I have created my first form. This form is not for a website, as I will be receiving leads from external software's. One company would like to send me leads via CSV. How can I upload a CSV for this form?

Hi @clever-nrg

No, uploading a contact will not trigger an email to the contact.

Correct, we classify leads and contacts as the same object in HubSpot, this post explains more about it ( Quick Tip: Associating Contacts, Companies, and Deals - A Case Study in Lemonade

@Krystina  @MAC-MCB  is there any suggestion for @clever-nrg  to his contacts as they are added into HubSpot to create a task at the same time?

Kindly,

Pam

Hi @PamCotton and @clever-nrg .

I would import the contacts as previously described so well with links.

Once the import is done, I will create a list of these imports.
(This can be selected as the last step before you start importing)

From there, I would create a workflow, that is only active on contacts that are added to the list.

(The workflow can be created first, but it can also be created later - and from your workflow, you choose the option to include "previously fulfilled condition")

Set up workflow for "Create task = Call"

and boom .. You are now ready

Hope this helps.. 🙂

Hi @clever-nrg,

Yes, that's where HubSpot is beyond superb.
With workflows you can build as many different tasks as you can almost dream of. 🙂

1. Start up your workflow, as I mentioned earlier.

2. Send marketing email (pre-call marketing email)

3. Wait (1 day, 3 days etc)

4. Create task "Call".

In between steps 3-4, you can set up an "if statement" that will make your workflow smarter and thereby begin to exploit the full potential of marketing automation.

(eg. Has marketing mail secured a meeting booking? .. If no - inform [Person]
If yes - create task "call")

Hope this helps.. 🙂

This does not help. I need to import consumer leads (people ) that will need calling. I dont see Contacts, Companies, Deals, Tickets, Products or Notes as a solution.

How are businesses using Hob Spot CRM to call personal opt-in data to sell products and manage a sales pipline?

Hi @clever-nrg

You Can import contacts to be able to call them. HubSpot currently have the following objects that you mentioned :

 Contacts, companies, Deals, Tickets.

From what I understand you would like to import people to call them correct? Your best option will be importing them as contacts to HubSpot.

I hope this helps.

Kindly,

Pam

Ok, so it looks like there is a cross over here with terminology. We class an opted in but of data a lead. This indicates you still class this as a “contact”? For the contact to have an immediate call to action, would we need to create a task (call) at the same time? Would the upload also trigger an email to the “contact”?

And what about a pre-call marketing email? Can the Workflow send an email on day one and a call planned for day 2?

Hi Clever-nrg.

If you are not actively using your form to collect inbound leads through your own pages, I would advise you to use the import module in HubSpot instead of forms.
(It is very important here that you have the correct permissions on the contacts - as they come from external sources)

This is done by csv import and you can download HubSpot's template directly through contacts / company.
