Wanted to consult you on the following case - we wanted to track sales' QBR meetings with existing clients and ask them to upload QBR presentations to the met customers.
- Shall I just create a new meeting & call type for that, and utilize the Attachment feature for uploading content?
- Is there any good practice that I should follow to set up meeting types in HubSpot?
Shall I just create a new meeting & call type for that, and utilize the Attachment feature for uploading content?
Yes, that's what I would recommend. Make sure the meeting type is named clearly. If you want to be able to distinguish between different types of QBR meetings in reports, make sure to differentiate them right at the start when you define meeting types. There aren't any meeting properties so unless it's a meeting type or unless the meeting name follows a very exact naming convention, you won't be able to distinguish meetings by type in reports later on.

Clearly naming them is the only thing you can do, there aren't more relevant options, I would say.
In terms of follow-up items that you might find usefule, I'd think about the following:
Train sales reps to always maintain type and outcome. This might seem too obvious but I see on many occasions that this is not done consistently.
You can create activity reports to visualize QBR meetings over time.
You can create lists of contacts or companies that are associated with a QBR meeting in the current quarter. Anyone not on that list has not had a QBR meeting - and you can use this "is not on list" logic for reminders to sales persons and reports.
Hope this helps!
