Puzzled over list - trying to pull companies w/o certain contact type

In short, I need a list of retail companies that need to have buyers (contact type) associated with them. Not every contact associated with the company will be a buyer, but I need to make sure we have at least one buyer with every company. 

Here's the list filter I created, but it's still pulling in companies with buyer contacts. 

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @ZoeCohen,

The filter you set up is filtering for companies who are associated to contacts where the contact type is not one of the specified – but it assumes that at least one contact is still associated. It's confusing, yes.

Here's how to work around that:

1. Create a list of companies that are associated to contacts whose contact type is any of Dispensary Buyer/Wholesale contact
2. Create an additional list of companies who are not a member of the list in step 1

This is currently the fastest, simplest way to answer your question. It is not possible to do this with just one list.
