I’ve created two custom fields in the Deals object:
Billing Frequency
Renewal Status
I set up a field dependency where if Billing Frequency = Renewal, then the Renewal Date field becomes visible — and this works correctly in the Deal creation form.
However, after the record is saved, the Renewal Date field still shows in the property card (left or middle section) even when it's not relevant. I want the field to be visible only when “Billing Frequency” is set to Renewal.
But I understand that HubSpot does not natively support conditional visibility in the record view after submission. Can anyone suggest a workaround or confirm if there are updates on this?
2. Set Custom Object as Homepage
I’ve created a custom object in HubSpot. Is there any way to set this custom object’s listing page (index view) as the default homepage when logging into HubSpot?
Looking for a cleaner way to prioritize it for daily use.
If you want a property to disappear, you would have to place it onto a sidebar section of it own with conditional rules. For one field only, however, I would probably not make the effort.
Regarding your second question, you can do this under Settings > General > scroll down until you see "Default Home Page":
Best regards
