I have set a few products with their unit prices (as a sales target price).
When I create a Deal, system gets automatically unit price from product master data. But each Deal has it own product price, depending on the negociation.
is there a way for me to have both prices in the Deal? price from product master data and Deal´s product price. I would need both of them in order to compare it and generate reports for analisys.
I was able to achieve it by using property sync (in custom Deal property).
Now I am able to see both prices in Deal, but unfortunately it is a open field, and any user can edit it in deal. (Even after I changed the access to this property as view only).
It is the a good call to use property sync? Is there a way to do not let people to change this new custom property? (price copied from product master data)
Yes, you can track both the product's master data price and the deal-specific price in HubSpot.
One approach is to create a custom property in Deals to store the original product price from the master data.
You can then use a workflow to populate this field when a product is added to a deal. This way, you can compare both prices and generate reports for analysis.
I hope this information helps,
Pam
