We setup 3 currencies in our system (USD, which is the default, CAD and EUR). We have a large library of products which of course we do not want to update manually each price on a regular basis with the conversion rates fluctuation.
We did setup the currency conversion rates in the currency settings. HOWEVER.
I was following the documentation, which says that if I have a sales PRO or Enterprise seat (I have PRO) I would be able to assign the product, and then by clicking edit update the price to the currency of the deal.
Yet I am not even able to assign the product at all if the price in the target currency is not entered in the product settings itself.
Hi @smontpetit, not sure if you still need this, but I have encountered the same problem as you. But when you first create a deal in the company currency, you can add the products you want. When you edit the currency afterwards, you will get the things you see in your screenshots.
When you click on edit line items then, you will see the alert to "update prices". You can then select id you want the price of the calculated custom exchange rate or a custom price.
If you have a lot of products, we have about 200, it is better to do this via an import. Because this otherwise a lot of manual work.
Since you have permissions to edit the currency of the product, we would need more information to see if there is any unexpected behavior happening such as that icon that is showing once you try to hover over the product in your library.
I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, including hopping on a screen share if necessary. You can refer to this Community post if you would like.
