Please Confirm My Understanding of Hubspot integration with ZenDesk

There are a number of older posts that discuss the ability for HubSpot to create a ticket in ZenDesk whenever a prospect moves to a new deal stage in the sales pipeline, but there are no clear answers.
The hope of this post is to confirm my understanding of how to get the following use case to work in HubSpot.
Use Case: When a user moves a deal to a different stage, a ticket in ZenDesk should be created.
The existing ZenDesk integration does not support this use case. There are two work arounds that are possible to make this work.
Option1 - Low Code/No Code
a - Go to Settings > Deals > Pipeline > Automate and build the workflow as follows:
- prospect moves to a new stage
- HubSpot creates a new Service Desk ticket (requires Service Hub)
- When the Service Desk ticket is created, sync to ZenDesk (requires ZenDesk integration from HS marketplace)
- benefit is that updates, edits, changes, status sync between ZenDesk and HubSpot.
Option 2 - Custom Code
- create a custom integration using the ZenDesk Service Desk API and/or webhook.
With all this as background, can someone confirm my understanding of Option 1 above?
