Pipeline Properties

SOLVE

Hey everyone!

Can I have different properties for different sales pipelines? I have two distinct pipelines: one for a tech product and another for consulting services. For example, in the tech product sales pipeline, I need deal properties like license fee and implementation fee. However, in the consulting sales pipeline, I need properties like consulting fee instead. Is this possible?

@TVaz this looks like you're editing the right sidebar. However, properties are typically displayed in the left sidebar.

Can you please share a screenshot of the section of a deal record that you'd like to make conditional, just to confirm?

Hey @TVaz

so yes, you can have different pipelines with different properties.

First you need to create the properties inside Deals.

Then,

If you need to request information in a stage, you will set this up in the pipeline editor as CONDITIONAL STAGE PROPERTIES.

If you need to see this different properties inside the deals in the pipeline, you will need to set different record views for deals.

Hope this helps.

Hey @TVaz

  • Once you have selected or created a pipeline, click on the pipeline name to edit it.
  • Customize the deal stages to fit the sales process for that specific pipeline.
  1. Customize Properties for Each Stage:

    • For each deal stage, you can set different properties that need to be filled out by your sales team.
    • Click on a stage to edit the properties required for that stage.
  2. Save Changes:

    • After customizing the properties for each stage, ensure you save the changes.

For more detailed instructions, you can refer to the HubSpot guide on setting up and customizing deal pipelines .

This will allow you to tailor your sales pipelines to different sales processes and ensure that the relevant properties are captured for each pipeline.

Hi @TVaz,

Generally properties exists for all properties on an object – this cannot be limited to records in a specific pipeline.

You can however easily configure the CRM to display certain properties for some pipelines only.

In the pipeline settings, you can specify which properties should be shown and which ones required, per pipeline: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/set-up-and-customize-your-deal-pipelines-and-deal-stag...

You can also customize the left sidebar to conditionally only show certain sections when a property matches a value: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/customize-records

This property can be 'Pipeline' – depending on the pipeline value a deal has, you could show conditional sections on a record.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Hi,

I tried this, but when I go to the other pipeline I still can see these properties there.

So, I don´t know what I am doing wrong...
