Hi - does anyone know how we can auto update any info from the parent to child companies - i.e on all parent/child there is head office info, if some info changed e.g the changed address - rather than updating all the children - can you just update the parent and it automatically updates the children company?
This is possible to some degree, but it would require a workflow — I see that this post is tagged as Free/Starter, but workflows require a Professional subscription. If you don't have access to workflows, this will be a manual process of updating individual records or setting a cadence for exporting associated records from HubSpot and manually updating them within a spreadsheet before re-importing them.
If you did have access to workflows, you would just need to define the workflow enrollment trigger that would start the workflow and re-enroll records if they had already gone through. Maybe you could create a custom property like "Update Child Companies" on the parent company record. When a user makes updates to a parent company record and wants to automatically pass them to the associated child company records, they would just set that property to "Yes."
