I have a client that is currently using HubSpot CRM and their Domain is connected for emailing purposes. I started a new project with them and they wanted to create a brand new HubSpot without changing their current setup. For this purpose, I need to connect to their domain with a new account (That is created by them with their domain) and then connect this new account to their domain. Will it create any issues since the domain is currently being connected? so basically it will be 1 domain connected to 2 separate CRMs
Connecting a single domain to two separate HubSpot CRM accounts can lead to complications, such as email sending issues, domain verification conflicts, and contact management inconsistencies. When both accounts use the same domain for emails, conflicts in SPF and DKIM settings may arise, risking deliverability as emails could be flagged as spam. Additionally, only one HubSpot account can maintain the domain's verified status. To mitigate these challenges, consider using a subdomain (e.g., new.yourdomain.com) for the new HubSpot account, allowing both accounts to operate independently. If a subdomain isn't feasible, create separate email accounts for each HubSpot account and adjust SPF and DKIM settings accordingly. It's also advisable to consult HubSpot support for best practices. Before implementing the new setup, test with a small subset of emails to ensure there are no deliverability issues.

Yep, trying to connect the same domain to two separate HubSpot accounts can definitely cause issues.
Typically, HubSpot only allows one domain to be connected to one account at a time for things like email sending, tracking, and landing pages.
Potential issues, Connecting the same domain for email in two accounts could cause deliverability issues or conflicts with SPF/DKIM settings. HubSpot’s tracking script might get confused, and you could see data mix-ups or inconsistencies.
Suggested solution, If possible, use a subdomain (e.g., newproject.yourdomain.com) for the new HubSpot account. This way, you can keep both accounts separate while still using the main domain.
