One account, two CRMs

SOLVE

Hi team,

 

I am currently using HubSpot for our business partners. I would also like to use it to collect contacts from our freelancers. Yet I dont want the two groups to get mixed.

I didnt find anything on how to create 2 independent CRMs in one account.

 

Is that a possibility to do that?

Hi @Josi_,

 

The best practice here would be documenting whether a contact is a business partner or a freelancer. That could be done with a simple custom contact property, e.g. "Contact type": https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/create-and-edit-properties

 

Each contact would be clearly flagged as either or. Yes, the contacts would still be "mixed", if you so want, but you can easily filter, exclude, include, segment them based on that contact type property:

Unless there is a reason to logically separate these contacts, I would keep it at that. If you want a logical separation (with all the baggage that comes with it: configuring everything twice), you could simply create a separate portal: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account-management/manage-multiple-hubspot-accounts
