One Contact with multiple personas

Hello community,

 

I have 3 companies managed by the same contact. I created this contact, and linked him to company 1. Ok no problem.

Then, I tried to link him to company 2. It worked, but at the same time, he disappeared from my list of contacts of company 1.

 

Can the same contact be linked to multiple companies?

Hi @Coline,

 

You cannot associate a single contact with multiple companies.

 

But, you can associate them as parent/child companies. Check out this article: How can I add a parent or child company to an existing company record?

Hi All  - I would love this feature too. For gathering business intelligence we'd love a field that allowed us to track if someone previously worked at a company.  PipeDrive allows this sort of as you can create a custom field that has the value of an organisation.

the beta looks great with the association labels. The sector I work in is quite and a lot people have roles in various companies. Being able to create your or own labels addresses this situation beautifully.

Hi All, Is one solution to create a custom object that replaces the Company standard object? Would you be able to associate a contact to multiple custom objects?

This is indeed possible with a Enterprise subscription - Custom objects can be associated to multiple contacts and vice-versa.

@TiphaineCuisset  My Account Manager has applied to enter me into the beta, and has yet to recieve a response.

Hello @ABENMALEK @ahamaton @MMorini00 at the moment the beta for "related companies" is closed so we can prep for an improved version of this functionality, built on a new infrastructure, which is coming in the near-term future.

 

My recommendation is to please update and leave your comment on this idea here. Doing so will also auto-notify you if/when this functionality becomes available within HubSpot. You may read more about how that review process works here.

Hello @ahamaton,  here in our Community is different from our ideas forum. You may read more about how that review process works here.

 

Since it's not a featured yet what the original user requested, we direct our users to an idea of a feature creation that is not built yet at HubSpot, and it's the idea I shared above, where our product team will update once it's created, different from this Community post.

This is a core feature HubSpot should really be adding.

 

Our most important contacts, the evangalists who recomend us into to businesss all have multiple company associations either as an investor or consultant /contractor. Not being able to track this or segment on this is killing our ability to get the most out of the HubSpot, I wish we'd know this before we signed up.

I have filled out the form weeks ago, but haven't heard anything since. Can you please give me a status on us beeing ungated for the Realted Companies beta feature?

We currently sit on our hands and can't deploy our new GTM strategy before this particular feature is live for us.

Looks like the form Related Companies beta request is no longer accepting responses.

 

I would recommend commenting on this Idea here   since the product team is updating there with Beta updates.
