Is there a way to stop the Sales Users from having the ability to delete sent emails or logged calls? We want every activity that shows up in the contact record to remain there - we don't want them to have the ability to delete any activity.

For a full list of how you can set users permissions, I wanted to share this resource.
While you can restrict contacts down to only being able to view the ones they own, and not being able to edit the properties associated with the contact, currently there is no way to prevent them from deleting activities off of those records.
If you are looking for more granular controls over user permissions, I wanted to share this idea.

this is a pretty bad answer to be honest. anyone thats actually worked on a real inside sales floor knows that managers NEED visibility in to any activity logged or deleted by a sales rep. im in a similar spot except for that in my case, a call activity was deleted.
