Need a way to send closed deal information to manufacturing partner

I am looking for a way to send customer shipping address, deal line items, and a few other deal fields to a manufactuing partner. We don't want to just send the quote because we want to hide our pricing from the manufacture. We don't want to update the quote to a diffrent template because that will prevent the customer from viewing it after order, We also want to limit the amout of reentery the sales reps do so we dont want to just create a second quote. I have tried just using an interal email (we gave our manufacturer a login with limited permissions) but I can't seem to get line item or customer information on the email. If anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated

Hi @JMartin93,

Documentation on line item personalization is sparse. From a first glance, it seems like what you're trying to achieve is not possible.

Are you working in a deal-based workflow? If at all, line item personalization tokens are only valid in deal-based workflow emails.

Additionally, @IsaacTakushi points out in this post that this type of personalization might be limited to specific workflows, namely Abandoned Cart Recovery workflows, see here.

@DanteDee, too, had it confirmed by HubSpot support that line-item personalization only works in ecommerce integrations here. He came up with a workaround using a custom module which you can check out here.

In your Professional or Enterprise subscription you have access to HubSpot support. They can also confirm whether this is how the tool currently works.

Best regards!

Hello,

I understand your need to send customer shipping addresses, deal line items, and other deal fields to your manufacturing partner without revealing the pricing information. Finding a solution that avoids updating the quote template or creating a second quote can be challenging, but there are alternative approaches you can consider.

One option is to use a customized integration or automation tool that can extract the required information from the deal and send it to your manufacturing partner securely. By setting up a custom integration, you can ensure that the relevant data is transmitted without revealing sensitive pricing details.

To help you find suitable integration options and streamline your sales process, I recommend exploring Apparels Kingdom. They offer valuable insights and resources related to e-commerce and business automation, which may help you discover the right solution for your specific needs.

Additionally, if you're interested in premium leather products for your business, consider visiting Leather Avenue. They offer a fantastic collection of leather goods that might be a great addition to your product offerings.

By leveraging the expertise and resources provided by Apparels Kingdom, you may find a suitable solution to efficiently share the required deal information with your manufacturing partner while protecting your pricing data
