Moving from Trello to Hubspot without loosing any data
SOLVE
Hi everybody!
We are a small SaaS company with 400+ cards in Trello. Now we want to move to Hubspot and use also its CRM. Each card belongs to a unique company with which I'm in contact. Also in Trello I use columns for different stages of deals, and in each card I have comments and contacts as an activity history with each brand.
So the question is howto transfer all my data from Trello to Hubspot without losing any information?
I'm newbie in Hubspot, but in theory I think I need to do next:
- export whole trello board to csv file
- upload to Hubspot (CRM or where? btw I cannot find any "import" options in "Deals")
- configure "Deals" columns as needed (already done)
- do the mapping and matching of data after transfer my csv file (how?)
You're mentioning that your cards in Trello correspond to companies but that you want to import deals. This would be one of the first things to figure out, where exactly you want information to live and if you import it into multiple objects, how you'd like it to be associated: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/get-started/manage-your-crm-database
(When you import separate files, e.g. one file with deals, one with companies, HubSpot does not automatically associate them.)
Can you review the above and let me know which follow-up questions you have?
Best regards
