Marking company/contact as having a non-compete agreement

Hi all, I just had a quick question. We would love to add a field that marks certain contacts/companies as completely off-limits, due to a non-compete agreement being in place. What is the best way to do this?
In this case, you can create a Contact and Company property example "non-complete agreement" and select filed type as a single checkbox By creating this custom field, you can easily filter and segment contacts or companies that have the non-compete agreement in place.
