I have created a form, which will be sent to all our resellers. This form will be used repeatedly. I have been testing it and it worked once only. It created my contact and then its respective deal. I then used the same form, from the same email address and it overrides the contact and does not create a deal
It only works the one time. I need it to be the one form to allow the reseller to re-use it? Is this possible
The trigger to the workflow is the return of the form, if its the first time the form is used it works a treat. The problem is when they use the form again from the same email address it overrides the contact, and does not create a deal. If I understand you correctly I am already doing this, wht you suggest?
Have you considered the idea of creating a workflow, the trigger of which is the filling in of that form, that would create the deal? In this case you would simply activate re-enrollment on the workflow and it would create a new deal every time the form is filled in. Obviously a new contact would not be created if the email entered was the same, but this seems fair for data cleansing in CRM.
@JGray30 in that case, you'll likely have to create the deal from a contact-based workflow. In that contact-based workflow, you'd (re-)enroll contacts when they submit the form, then use the "Create record" workflow action to create a deal record.
