Marketing Lead Capture Form submission

SOLVE

I have created a form, which will be sent to all our resellers.  This form will be used repeatedly.  I have been testing it and it worked once only.  It created my contact and then its respective deal.  I then used the same form, from the same email address and it overrides the contact and does not create a deal

It only works the one time.  I need it to be the one form to allow the reseller to re-use it?  Is this possible

Hi @JGray30,

Are you sure that this is not creating the deals as expected? It looks like it's set up correctly.

When you look up your submission in the actions log of the details page, what do you see? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/understand-your-workflow-details-page

This is my workflow:

JGray30_1-1708958822145.pngJGray30_2-1708958849093.png

The trigger to the workflow is the return of the form, if its the first time the form is used it works a treat.  The problem is when they use the form again from the same email address it overrides the contact, and does not create a deal.  If I understand you correctly I am already doing this, wht you suggest?

Hi @JGray30,

Have you considered the idea of creating a workflow, the trigger of which is the filling in of that form, that would create the deal? In this case you would simply activate re-enrollment on the workflow and it would create a new deal every time the form is filled in. Obviously a new contact would not be created if the email entered was the same, but this seems fair for data cleansing in CRM.

Let me know if this solution could fit your goal,

My best,

Silvia

Hi @JGray30,

In the form's option tab, enable this toggle and new submissions will create new contacts 🙂

@JGray30 in that case, you'll likely have to create the deal from a contact-based workflow. In that contact-based workflow, you'd (re-)enroll contacts when they submit the form, then use the "Create record" workflow action to create a deal record.
