Manualy importing deals and products

SOLVE

Hi,

We are moving from all of our historical sales and new sales from an old CRM to HubSpot. The first move will be manual import and I want to associate deals with products. However, I can't seem to find a good way to do so. Do any of you have a way to solve this or have some tips or tricks to help me in the right direction?

Cheers,

Gaute

Manualy importing deals and products

SOLVE

Hey @gautemercell

In this case, we have 2 options ahead of us -

  1. Manually associate a product(s) to each deal in HubSpot by following the step-by-step guide here.
  2. Use the Associate CRM Objects API to bulk associate your products to deals. The definitionID in the API to associate line item (product) to deal would be 20.

I hope this helps.

Thank you,

Sharon

@Brianna_Maze we ended up going with a different CRM solution for other reasons, but check out Import2Wizard! unfortunately it's a paid product, and depending on how many records you need to associate it can get pricey. that was the only solution that we were able to find for this issue. good luck!

@kelseyingram392 we were not able to do so. However, we set up a microservice to allocate products to historical deals. If you´re looking to do the same? Let me know and I can try to set you up with the team that made it possible.

Hey @gautemercell that would be really helpful. We're importing historical data, and also need to figure out some integrations with other payment processing platforms going forward that would associate products with deals, so we need both a historical and ongoing solution. Feel free to private message me!
