Manually mark quote as signed

Is there a way to manually mark a quote as signed? This is important as we're sending some quotes for e-signature and some with a place for signature. Would be great if we can mark a quote as signed and upload it, so on the Quotes landing page it displays an accurate list of what's signed.

What is it?

We’re introducing new functionality for our quote customers so they can manually change the status of a quote to “Signed”.

Why does it matter?

Customers find it valuable to understand the correct status a quote is in to support accurate reporting and filtering. Currently, you can only reach the “Signed” state if E-Signature is enabled, and the quote is signed by the buyer. The problem here is some customers don’t use E-Signature, hindering them from the ability to change their status to “Signed”. We’ve decided to enable this functionality to enable parity between E-Sign and written signatures.

How does it work?

• A published quote that had selected "Include a written signature" can be marked as signed
• You can mark a quote as signed from the Deals page
  
• Signed quotes can't be recalled or deleted
• You cannot "unmark" a quote as signed
• Once you select "Mark Signed" you can see the reflected status below
• If a quote is payment-enabled and marked as signed, it will still display its payment status

Will it be possible or is it already to use this status "signed" which was marked manually as a trigger for a workflow? 

Can it be done, that the Products in the signed quote (if there is more than one to a deal) gets added to the line items of the deal?

I can confirm it isn't currently possible to manually mark a quote assigned. Quotes move through the stages automatically when your customers pay using the payment link included in the quote if any.

We are aware of why this feature is needed and there's already a post on our ideas forum about this here

I would recommend upvoting the ideas post so our product team is aware of this request!
