Managing Credit Approval Process on HubSpot

SOLVE

Hey everyone,

 

Trying to see what's the best work around to manage the credit approval process on HubSpot. I know that we don't a direct solution to this but I was wondering if we could somehow use Tickets or Quotes to manage the process.

 

What's really imporant is that a manager should be able to approve the stages or request changes in the credit workflow process before moving into the next stage.

 

Anyone has an idea to manage this through HubSpot?

 

P.S: We currently have Marketing Enterprise and willing to upgrade for an another package in addition to the Marketing Enterprise to resolve this.

Hey @Dan1 thanks for the response.

 

We can't just resolve this with a simple property. The credit approval is a workflow that has its own stages.

 

Think of the credit approval as a seperate pipeline with custom stages. We need to create the pipeline with stages and that should have a manager approval on each stage.

Thanks @natsumimori for looping me in.

 

If you are using deals and pipelines, then the below might be a decent workaround for you. 

 

1) You could setup a new HubSpot property called "Credit Approval" and restict access to the property to your managers only. Here is the HubSpot guide on how you do that. 

 

2) Once you have that property in place you could ensure that the property needs to be completed before moving to the next deal stage. Here is the HubSpot article that talks you through that set up. 

 

This would prompt the sales rep to message the manager to get approval. 

 

3) Manager can then complete the property and the sales rep can move the deal to the next stage once approved.
