Mails not appending to contact's timeline

Why mails sent by one user in hubspot not appearing in timeline of  unassigned contacts or contact owned by another user? All the users have been granted permission to view , edit and communicate everything under contacts. Please help.

Hi @CU_Rise,

 

Emails sent to a contact will only show in that contact record. 

 

If you are still experiencing this issue, do you mind sharing additional information regarding what you are experiencing, your end goal, and any screenshots you can send along.

Hi Jenny,

 

Any emails that are send to with only email ids typed are not getting logged. However others which have a name <email id> get logged. Do you know why this is happening? What wrong we are doing? And this issue is happening only for one of the most active users.

 

E.g  - to david.miller@gecu.org does not get logged or for it any new contact created but David<david.miller@gecu.org> gets logged

 

Pleas help . We soon need a fix. We have already lost a lot of logged in information.

Hi @CU_Rise,

 

Can you send along screenshots with the whole process of: 

scenario a: a sent email to david.miller@xyz.com (showing bcc address in sent email) 

scenrio b: a sent email to David<david.miller@xyz.com>(showing bcc address in sent email)

 

and then a link to the contact record (either through here or direct message).
