Magnifying Glass search

When I search for a specific contact using the Contact screen, I may get several results (due to different email addresses for the same contact), but when I enter that user name in the search filed with the magnifying glass a different number of contacts may be returned.  Why?

The HubSpot search includes specific assets and data points from your portal. You can find out more about what exactly is searched here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/contacts/search-within-your-hubspot-account

Or, in other words, not all searches in HubSpot are created equal. They function in different ways.

@JObergfell another cool thing to note about the magnifying glass search is that it shows results based on relevance to you and your activity, so if two users in the same account search the same thing, it won't show in the same order, but will give you access to the same results overall.
