Locating duplicate deals

Hi - I want to create a view (or whatever) that will show me all deals with the same name in a given pipeline.  

How?  Thanks in advance.

This is definitely a feature that will be useful, especially for a ticketing pipeline.

At the moment, the workaround @dianalcont provides is the closest to achieve this goal.

@smk - if you find a better way, tell me! (or don't because that might make me cry 😅)

This is what I did recently because I couldn't find any other way to find duplicate deals:

1. go to your pipeline
2. view pipeline as a list instead of the board view
3. sort alphabetically 
4. merge duplicate deals in one of the deal records

Only thing I found in the knowledge base about duplicate deals: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/deals/merge-deals#merge-deals

It's v e r y time consuming to do it this way, but a necessary evil to keep data clean. I'd be curious if you could dedupe using a list and deal IDs (kind of like how you can import your CRM data back into HubSpot to make contact >> company >> deal associations ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

But seriously let me know if you find a better way.

Diana, thanks for your note.  I think I might try to export all deals, sort/manipulate in Excel, tag the dups, and then re-import the dups so I can delete the ones with the tag.

Crazy to have to do this *outside* of HS because it lacks functionality.
