I am not sure whether our setup is unique, and therefore there is close to no chance that Hubspot has this feature, or if I am just missing something here.
We have cases, where companies have registered with multiple accounts (for valid reasons, i am not going to go through them) on our platform, therefore creating also multiple companies on hubspot.
For our Sales Account Manager, they would ideally see those companies as a single one in hubspot (especially for the revenue generated, but not only).
Since we sync our date based on hubspot ID in our platform, if we merge those companies in Hubspot, data will be inconsistent, as at some point in time. the HS record will have data from company A, and the next point in time, data from company B.
How can I somehow :
- keep separated companies records on hubspot
- associate them so that some data (for example generated revenue) are seen as one?
@TMessi if merging is not an option, then yes, associations would be the only way for you to pull aggregated data in whichever of the records you choose to be the main / primary one, I would say 🙂
