Lead form not connecting with Contact Properties

Hi all.  In several cases, I have lead form submissions that have no contact property connections.  I believe this is because the potential client used a different IP address when they filled out the initial interest form than the second form submission.  

 

Typically, if using the same IP address, the contact properties are automatically updated to the contact when the second form is submitted.  Is there a way to tell Hubspot CRM that the second form that was submitted actually belongs to an existing contact?

HI @Sistersurrogate,

 

If you are looking to associate a new contact/form submission with an existing contact, the best way to do this is to merge the new contact and the existing contact.
