Is there any free way to auto sync/associate in real time my Contact's Company in the Contacts view?

SOLVE

Anyone with HubSpot experience please: Is there any (free) way to auto sync/associate in real time my Contact's Company in the Contacts view, without having to manually add their Company in the Companies view?

Has there been no progress from HubSpot since 2018 in implementing a native auto sync/association feature???

I would really appreciate your method on this.

  1. My first problem: on one end I have my list of Contacts, with their company email, which only seems to only upgrade the logo of the contact, but which, on the other end, doesn't seem to ASSIGN THEM TO ANY COMPANY in my Contact table (nor in the Companies table).
  2. My second problem: there's no way of creating automatically a Company based on my Contacts's Companies??... I'm a bit at a loss here, how to optimize this process without having to do TWICE THE JOB? I'm fine with the email method, but please help me out there.
Cheers.

Hi @spnc,

I can't send you an exact screenshot because the URL would contain your HubID. I will post the link below but you'll need to replace with your own:

Hi @spnc,

There is a setting in HubSpot on under Objects>Companies that will allow you to turn on the setting to create and associate companies with contacts. From your explanation, this is exactly what you need:

This will be viewable on the contact record in mostly real time. This will only work if the contact is not using a free email (such as gmail, apple, etc.).

Thank god it's working.

I don't understand why this feature is not ON by default! This is probably HubSpot's most important feature as a CRM, it's Database 101 really!

It's crazy that I had to ask here since the doc is so cryptic lol

Thanks anyway, I'll pass the word around 🙂 Cheers.
