Is there a place to load my contractors' names where I can match them with accounts to be worked on?

SOLVE

I have different clients and different contractors are assigned to each clients. Is there a place to load my contractors' names where I can match them with accounts to be worked on?

I need to be able to have some sort of table/matrix where I list an account and then next to it my contarctor worked, no. of days they are working on that account, etc.

would love to have the birds eye view to see who still has capacity to work on other clients and which subcontractors are not working yet.

Hi @iC03 ,

If you are already using Compant records, you can use Deals for this or if not you can use Companies to create associated objects for clients. So first of all you have to create Deals/Comapnies properties:
Contractor Name, Number of Days worked, Contractor availablilty and then assciate the Deals/Comaponies with the clients and use these properties to track.
To keep an eye, you can create custom views and Reports and Dashboards in HubSpot.

Hope this helps!
Thanks

@iC03 you can create custom deal properties by following these steps: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/create-and-edit-properties

Hi @DSharma02 , thank you for this. So I add clients under Companies and make Deals for each of them? e.g. client name: "XYZ". There should be an XYZ under companies but also in Deals? Where do I put the contractors and their information?

I got confused as the Deals also already has Stages. If you could provide a screen recording of how you do this, that'll be very healpful. Appreciate it!

Hi @iC03 ,

Currently you are keeping Clients as contacts and their respective companies in companies?
Then for every client create a deal in deals which will represent the project for that client. Name the Deal something like "Project A for XYZ Client" to keep it clear. Now in the deals, create custom properties for contractor details like name and other things. Within each Deal, fill in the custom properties you created with the relevant contractor information. This way, each Deal will contain details about which contractor is working on that specific project, how many days they’ve worked, and their availability. The Deal's pipeline and stages will help you track the progress of each project.

Either this or you have to opt for Custom Objects in Enterprise where you can crearte a new Object like contacts/companies/deals/tickets and you can associate **bleep** with any default CR object.

Apologies, as I cannot record a screen as my set-up is completely different from this!

Hope this helps!
Thanks
