Is there a max limit to number of dropdown select options?

Hi,

I am currently trying to add another option to a dropdown select property which has 281 values. On my 282nd I can use the interface to create a new option and input a label and value, but the Save button remains inactive. Is there a limit I have reached or is there something else I should look into?

Hi @MirceaS 

According to Property field types in HubSpot, a dropdown select "stores a maximum of 1000 options" so you shouldn't have hit a capacity limit. 

Have you checked that you are not using any unusual characters or something like that?

Hi Phil,

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I can confirm no special characters have been used. Please see my screen below. The all s'es option was added now but as you can see the Save button remains disabled.

In another property with dropdown it works.

@MirceaS  can you please confirm that this same behavior occurs across multiple browsers, through an incognito window, and after clearing your cache? 

Additionally, are other users in your portal experiencing this issue? 

Finally, can you please share the name of the property you are trying to edit?

The same is happening to another account which tried the same.

The field is called "Organizatie".

Hi @MirceaS,

The team found a blank value within your options for that property, which was preventing it from being saved. They removed the blank value, so you should be all set now.
