Is it different when importing/ creating a contact using admin account and user account

Hello,

I have a question relating to the user account. In case, user A uses his/her own account to import/ create a contact to/in Hubspot, when user A is deleted, is the data relating to user A deleted?

Is it different when importing/ creating a contact using an admin account and user account? Please advise me!

Hi @nguyennguyen 

Importing Contacts is the same for any HubSpot User (admin or not). 

However, as an Administrator, you can turn on/off any HubSpot User's ability to Import Contacts.

If a Contact is "owned" by a HubSpot User that's later deleted the Contact's Owner will show as "Deactivated User".

Means that if a user is deleted, it will only change the contact's owner as "deactivated user", that contact still will be stored in Hubspot right?

Yes, when a HubSpot User is deleted all Contacts they added will remain in HubSpot.

If the Contact Owner (HubSpot User) is deleted the Contact Owner will show as "Deactivated User (User's Name)". You can then unassign the Owner or assign the Contact Owner to another HubSpot User.
