Is Record ID unique among different objects?

Hi, HubSpot community!

I was wondering if the record ID is unique across all the different object types.

In other words, can a Company and a Contact have the same record id?

I guess they can't, but I wanted to double check.

I found this in the developer documentation (
https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/understanding-the-crm)

"When a record is created in HubSpot, a unique ID is automatically
generated and should be treated as a string. These IDs are unique only
within the object type, so there can be both a contact and company with the
same ID."
