Is Hubspot utilized for both marketing automation tool and a CRM system?

We are contemplating switching from Salesforce to HubSpot as our CRM system at our company. I am only familiar with Salesforce like MyBKexperience, and I am not sure how efficient HubSpot is as a CRM. Any feedback or information would be appreciated.
