Internal Emailing

resolver

When in a deal, we often send emails internally to coworkers about the specific deal. We are rarely emailing the customer of the deal directly. When i click "create email" in the deal, it auto populates the contacts email. Is there a way to change this auto population for all deals to be to a co workers email or multiple co workers?

I know i can just change the email before i send but i am worried a coworker will forget and accidentally email the contact/customer. Thanks.

Internal Emailing

Hi @ac11,

No, this is not possible, there isn't any setting for this.

Personally, I would advise against sending emails from records to coworkers. In all reports, filters, activity properties, HubSpot assumes that this communication relates to the prospect or customer. By sending emails to coworkers, you're blocking the path to many useful features, auch as filtering for email activity in reports, lists, workflows.

Instead I'd recommend logging notes to records and mentioning other users by typing @ and their name. They'll also receive an email, communication is documented in the CRM but there isn't any risk of email slip-up, plus email activity filtering remains reliable.

Best regards!
