Importing my excel data

resolver

When attempting to import my crm from an excel spreadsheet it only imports about 25% of my data, even though my excelsheet is made directly from another crm application, even when i attempted to to import my data directly from the other crm application it was incorrect.

Hi @CGarciaDHT,

Could you share a screenshot of your import dashboard, like the one below?

karstenkoehler_1-1622816750597.png

A screenshot of your import file (pixelating any confidential information), would also be useful.

Here are the things that can usually go wrong:

Have you checked the error file? See here for general tips on import errors.

Does your file have empty rows or columns where HubSpot expects data? If you're unsure, you can review the setup of your file.

Are you looking for the records in the right place? (e.g. if you're importing companies, are you checking under Menu > Contacts > Companies?)

Do you have the permissions to see all records? If you're not the super admin in your portal, I'd recommend reaching out to them. You might have imported contacts which you are now not allowed to see, for example if your access permissions do not include records without an owner.

Could you describe how you are confirming that not all records are being imported correctly? Are you maybe looking at a filtered view which is not showing all records, just the ones you own, for example?

Hope this helps!
