Importing a photo+other fields for a new contact with a webhook
SOLVE
Hello, Using a webhook; I tried to import the field avatar (this the url of the picture of the contact) from my app (linkedhelper) to the field 'photo' in hubspot but in the end I have all the other fields fullfilled but not the picture. Is there another field to use? Sometinhg else to do?

Hey @Yves_LAURISSE I'm not actually aware of any api access for changing the avatar, the only way I can see to do this is through the UI. I can see a feature request for allowing changing the avatar through the api here, which is still open.

Hey @Yves_LAURISSE, thank you for posting in our Community!
It sounds like you've set everything up correctly, but the 'photo' field may not be accepting the avatar URL as expected. Unfortunately, HubSpot's contact photo field often requires a specific setup and is not always compatible with direct webhook image imports. As a workaround, you could store the image URL in a custom text field or another image-compatible field and display it from there if needed.

Hi Pam,
Thanks for your reply.
To use a workaround I've got the same idea : I created a field avatar_url and I imported the URL of the photo into it. Just one question : what do you mean by 'or another image-compatible field'? Now I'm wondering if there is 'something' (import/export, programs, Zapier/Make, or even AI like Claure 3 ...) that will be able to read that field and upload it as avatar into my contact. Best regards Yves
