Importing Annual Revenue

Hi dear HubSpot Community, 

Have tried several ways of importing our list of leads, but the CRM system can't seem to import the Annual Revenue from the excel file, even though the amount shows up in the 3rd step of the import process under "Preview Information".

Once imported into the CRM, the amount of Annual Revenue is not to be found in the Company information, it's just blank...

Does anyone know how to solve this? Have tried searching all over the place without finding an answer.

@Phil_Vallender Had tried to import both companies and contacts simultaneously. And in that case, HubSpot Insights was unable to add the Annual Revenue property to each Record. Tried splitting it up in two separate spreadsheets as your post indicated, then it worked! Thank you!

@webdew Thank you for looking into the issue. To better understand: Do you suggest that I create an extra Annual Revenue property, even though it already exists and is selected as a standard property for our company records? Would that enable import of both contacts & companies simultaneously in one excel spreadsheet?

I have checked through the issue and I would suggest you create a custom property specifically for the annual revenue property and then proceed with the import process. That will help!

Hi @erik9 

It sounds like you are importing contacts - so if you are mapping annual revenue from your file to a property, then it is a contact property. Annual revenue on the company object will not be automatically populated this way - although, if the contact/companies domain name is recognised then HubSpot Insights (if turned on) should look up and populate the company revenue property.
