Import company notes with company id (not domain)

I spent the last 3 days cleansing my ACT! company notes preparing them for import into Hubspot only to find out that it seems the link between company and notes is the company domain - not company id.

We have many companies that we record as seperate entities (i.e. Company A - Chicago, Company A - Los Angelas) but which obviously would share the same domain so for those companies we don't record a domain name.

Is there any way at all of importing notes by the unique company id instead of company domain?

The import should allow for the association by ID.

Sometimes this can be a bit difficult though. To use it, you may have to import your customers (Companies), then export to see the ID, then import again with a created field we named Customer Number.
