I've got contacts with multiple deals, how can I get rid of the extras?

Hi HubSpot community,

I've noticed in my company's CRM system we've got a number of contacts with 2 or 3 deals associated. 

I'm not sure how to remove the extra deal/s from a contact in a faster way other than manually going through them all individually. 

Could someone please provide instructions or ideas on how I should go about this?

Hi @GBurgess,

Have you checked whether the deal associations are valid? Generally, there's nothing wrong with a contact being associated to multiple deals if there have actually been multiple opportunities worked.

Currently, in the HubSpot user interface there is no option to bulk remove associations. This simply does not exist. You would currently have to work with the associations API endpoint: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/associations

If the incorrect associations are the result of recent incorrect reports, and you're just starting with your CRM, you might consider deleting everything and re-doing the imports correctly.
