HubSpot is making changes to the Quotes report page

it appears HubSpot is making changes to the Quotes report page.

Previously, from the Quotes report, you could Copy Link, Download, Clone, Recall & Edit, Archive, or Delete a specific quote. That functionality is no longer available there — you can now only Preview a quote from that view.

All other quote actions have been moved to the Deal page, under the Quotes section.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Hey @RBellemare - thanks for confirming that!

I'm currently testing this in my own portal, and it looks like the functionalities you mentioned above are still accessible from the index page. But to get to them now, you do need to click that "Preview" button to see these options. Once you click "Preview," you'll want to select the "Actions" dropdown in the top righthand corner of the Deal on the righthand side panel, where you can then select "Edit," "Clone," or "Delete." You can also click the three dots ("...") above the panel and select "Download Published Quotes."

I hope this helps!

Hi @RBellemare  you’re not wrong, and you’re also not alone in noticing this. What you’re seeing is part of a quiet UX shift HubSpot has been rolling out around quotes, where actions are being de-emphasized on index pages and pushed into contextual panels instead.

As of now, the behavior Shane described is accurate. The Quotes index page still technically allows all the same actions, but they’re no longer directly exposed. You’re forced into a Preview-first flow, and only then do the actions surface via the Actions dropdown or the three-dot menu. Functionally nothing was removed, but discoverability definitely took a hit.

This fits a broader pattern HubSpot has been following lately. In 2025, more object-level actions are being centralized on the record view rather than list or index pages, likely to reduce accidental edits and standardize UI patterns across objects. The tradeoff, as you pointed out, is that experienced users suddenly feel like features disappeared when in reality they were just relocated.

The frustrating part is the lack of documentation updates. The Quotes documentation still implies that index-page actions are directly available, which no longer matches reality. That gap is what makes these changes feel like regressions rather than intentional design decisions.

If this workflow slowdown affects your team materially, it’s worth posting or upvoting an Ideas request asking for either restored quick actions or clearer in-product guidance. HubSpot product teams do pay attention when changes create friction for power users.

Your feedback is fair, and honestly, it’s helpful for others who are scratching their heads over the same thing.

Hey @RBellemare - thanks for posting in the Community!

I understand you're having some difficulty previewing your quotes from the quotes report page. To clarify, are you referencing the quotes index page, as outlined here? Or are you referencing reports on quotes, as outlined here? I want to be sure we have all the context we need to best support you on navigating any changes you may see on your end.

@STierney Thank you for "discovering" this new undocumented feature. I wish HubSpot would update its knowledge base documentation when it makes these changes.

Hey @RBellemare - it's my pleasure to provide some context!

I'd also like to apologize for any confusion changes to our UI may cause you and your team. While we're always working to enable more products and features to support our customers, updates sometimes get lost in the mix. We're definitely working to make that more manageable moving forward!

I want to point out that we do, indeed, have these updates documented for you in our knowledge base article on managing published quotes. You'll see the addition of clicking the "Preview" button before taking further action on your Quotes. If there is still something missing from this article, please feel free to tag me with those missing elements. I'd love to ensure we're covering everything to set you, and all of our customers, up for success!
