I'm trying to set up a user for our sales team's email to notify them that we have a new form submission. The only way to add an email address to the notifications is if they're an active "invite accepted" User. The email address that I'd like to use is our sales@company.com (includes all sales team members) email address but we don't currently have a way to log in to just that email address to accept the invitation. If I copy and paste the invite link, it asks me to create an account for sales@company.com, which I don't want to do. I do have the sales team set up as a "Team," but the notifications are not going to any of the email addresses set up in the Team. Any suggestions on how I can add the email address to the form submission notifications, preferably without making a new user profile? We have several teams that I'd like to add for multiple forms.
@KDeSoto I think you're experiencing some of the discrepencies that crop up between HubSpot tools, in this case forms and users in HS.
At the moment, HubSpot forms will only notify verified user emails of submissions. In the past they used to allow you to enter any email in here, but that was removed for very good reasons. It was too easy for someone to enter the wrong email and destroy email sending reputation, and it also is massively open to potential abuse.
The missing part now though is that it only verifies users, and not teams. So at the moment an email needs to be a verified user to be set as the notification email address.
As you said here is the solution right now, to set up a user under the team email address. You can still verify it through your own email. This user could be given the minimum amount of permissions and you won't be charged by HubSpot for this user.
Out of curiosity are there additional concerns you have over creating this user?

Hey @kimiwei88 This post is from November last year, prior to HubSpot annoucing their new tiered seating pricing structure. I'd recomend opening up a new post on this! But yes core seat users can received form notification emails.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! I just didn't want to add another user if I didn't have to. I was actually hoping there was a way to add the Team to the form notifications, but that looks to not be the case. For now, I'll just add the team members individually as @PamCotton suggested.
If you have a Professional or Enterprise subscription, you can also use form submissions as an enrollment trigger to send custom notifications or notifications through integrations such as Slack.
You will have the email you want to send the notification created as a user in our account, this way. you will be able to email the specific sales@company.com, otherwise, our recommendation is to select manually each user you want to send that is working for that specific team.
