How to match Lost Customers in lifecycle stage?

Hello all,

I am searching for a best practice on lifecycle for "lost customers"?

Where do you locate them in LS? I don't want to delete the LS and rewrite it as "opportunity" but seems that it is the best solution.

What do you think?

Check out this solution by @Phil_Vallender.

Also note, the ability to edit lifecycle stages for contacts is currently in planning. When this comes to fruition, you could add a stage post customer for "Churned" or something similar.
