I have imported a list of recently obtained contacts and not all of them have e-mail addresses. There was no indication that I needed to assign lead status before the import, and while importing all were marked as 'lead' lifecycle stage, which is fine, but none of them have a lead status.
If I go back and assign it then re-import, there will be lots of duplicates.
How can I mass update the lead status of many contacts at once?
Hi, @Sales1. Any import will create a static list of everyone who was part of that import. This list can be used as part of a (single-use) workflow, setting whatever lead status value you want. If multiple values are desired, you'll need to create multiple workflows with conditional criteria for anyone who was part of that import, then each workflow sets the desired value.
Brad Mampe, Salesforce Analyst, Fidelity I'm probably wrong. I may not be right about that.
