How to mark a lead object as closed/converted when deal is closed won?

I don't see a way to close out a lead object when the deal associated with that lead o next is closed won. How can I close out the lead object associated with the closed won deal so my sales team doesn't have a bunch of "qualified" leads that are actually finished and no longer need attention? This is especially important because we often have repeat customers who will have new leads created and I want to make sure the team knows when a lead onexjt is done. Ang help is appreciated.
