How to make notes created by existing owner visible to the new owner?

Hello,

I'm about to transfer company ownership from one user to another and wondering if it's possible to make all notes created by the existing owner visible to the new owner? These notes contain a lot of useful information about the company which the new owner needs to be able to see.

Hi @AntonSh,

There aren't any specific settings for this specific case. In the user permission settings for this user, you would either have to select notes permissions to Team only or Everything so that they can see the note.

This would of course affect their access to all other notes in the portal, too.

There isn't anything in between here that would give a company owner access to unowned notes on their company.

Another workaround would be simply manually sharing the notes content with the new owner so that they can log that note.
