How to keep the custom columns for newly created views?

SOLVE

Hi,

When I created new views, it seems to show the default column instead of the current custom cloumns I've set before.

Is there a way to make the columns exactly the same as current vies (All Contacts) so I don't have to recreate and rearrange the columns for each view every time?

Hi @duckbill,

The 'All contacts' should remember your column selection. If you create other views, you need to pay attention to these two buttons in the top right corner:

2 lets you save the current view (unless it's a default view like 'All contacts', but again, that one will remember your columns). If 2 is grayed out, you need to first clone your filtered view (1) before you can save it. Once saved, it'll appear as its own filtered view tab. (Move it to the very left and it'll become your default when opening the contact index page.)

Will the copied view syn with the record in "all contacts"? For example, when I add a new contact in "all contacts", will the copied view has a new one, too?
