How to filter out users who have 2 tickets using active list?

I have following contacts:

John

Kim

John has 2 ticket, namely ticket1 and ticket2

Kim has only 1 tickets, namely ticket2.

Here I want to pick John, who have both of ticket 1 and 2.

I made following active lists (contact- based):

At least one associated Ticket has

Ticket name contains any of ticket1

and
Ticket name contains any of ticket2

But this gives me nothing. I tried OR operator as well, but then it gives all people including Kim. How can I fix it so that only John will be selected?

Hi @o0227,

That indeed seems to be a bug then. Are you on a paid subscription? If yes, you could flag this with HubSpot technical support by clicking the purple help widget in the bottom right corner of the screen. Otherwise we'll have to enroll the help of one of the community managers here 😉

How to filter out users who have 2 tickets using active list?

Hello @o0227,

The associate ticket feature on list filtering has not officially been launched or implemented into HubSpot just yet, I think you have private beta access. This is an interesting feature.

But yes, in your case you just need to use filters correctly, what I mean is might be if you use AND out of the box of filter you already added then add new filter like -

Just follow the steps mentioned in the screenshot. Hope This will help you to achieve your goal.

How to filter out users who have 2 tickets using active list?

Hi.

I already tried using second AND button there, but both 1st and 2nd AND buttons (Operator) generate same results as above picture.

I am not sure about version my account is bounded since beta is mentioned, but the account basically I use was created just few days ago.

Using either 1st AND or 2nd AND button generates following:

At least one associated Ticket has

Ticket name contains any of ticket1

and
Ticket name contains any of ticket2

Both AND buttons do not generate following (This is just not possible):

At least one associated Ticket has Ticket name is equal to any of ticket 1

AND

At least one associated Ticket has Ticket name is equal to any of ticket 2

How to filter out users who have 2 tickets using active list?

I think you have to use "Contains any of" instead of "equal to any of".

I tested the two filters separately in the portal and look how it worked for me:

  • First I used the filter "Equal to any of" for finding ticket name "Alehouse" -

  • Now I used the filter "Contains any of" -

I suggest you try it once and I hope it will work for you.

How to filter out users who have 2 tickets using active list?

Hi @o0227,

Very interesting, I don't have access to this. Lucky you 😉

Currently, you're filtering for contacts who are associated with one ticket that meets both criteria. That's because you used the first AND button. Instead, you want to use the second AND button. It should then read:

At least one associated Ticket has Ticket name is equal to any of ticket 1

AND

At least one associated Ticket has Ticket name is equal to any of ticket 2

Hope this helps!

How to filter out users who have 2 tickets using active list?

Hi @o0227,

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of your list filters? I had to double-check in few portals I'm managing: Ticket filters are not rolled out to all portals yet so you might be on a beta that still has some bugs? (Ticket filters have been requested in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community but that thread is still open.)

Best regards!

How to filter out users who have 2 tickets using active list?

Hi, thank you for the reply.

Ticket1: Only 1 contact is  associated.

Ticket2: 2 contacts are associated.

Here, I want to pick up Kim, who are enrolled in both 2 tickets. But nothing shows.

How can I sort out Kim, who are in both 2 tickets?
