How to calculate the custom properties created in Data management?
SOLVE
Hello community,
I just came across a genuine doubt. Hoping to get more insight to understand it better.
While using Hubspot our team has created 4 custom properties under Deal information. After this a Pop keeps showing on the top of the property page that "You've used 10 out of 10 custom properties."
As hubspot offers 10 free properties can be created before upgrading to the CRM suite. - Current status of custom property shows only 4 created - So we could still have 6 more free properties available to create. - I am afraid if I delete 1 created property the number would still show the same 10 properties used. So hahven't tried to delete any custom property either.
How can we calculate the count of custom property created? Or if there is bug with the property calculation?

@Bhushan_Nirmal if I remember correctly, updates and saved changes might also count towards the limit, I'm not sure however. In any case, if you want to lift the limit, there isn't going to be a way around upgrading to a Starter subscription (which will greatly increase the toolset at your hands, too).

Hi Karsten, Thanks for your response.
Checked with all other fields. No sign of custom field created anywhere but the deal information. Also it shows 0 fields in archive, so I believe there is no field deleted either.

The limit doesn't just extend to deal properties but to contacts, companies, tickets and so on. I'd recommend double checking whether you've created custom fields there as well.
As far as I recall, deleting properties does not free up a slot again.
Best regards!
